The North Uist Community Development Plan 2018 - 2023 identified 3 key projects for the focus of NUDC's development activities to assist in delivering its aims and objectives. These have been shaped by earlier work and are designed to achieve the aspirations of the community expressed in response to regular consultation:

In additional to projects, NUDC has numerous additional activities it undertakes on a day-to-day basis, including providing specific support to a range of Groups and projects in North Uist and further afield, as well as general engagement with activities, groups and projects in its role in maintaining an overview of what is, even where it is not formally involved.
