Sarah Longbottom from Climate Hebrides was at Old Lochmaddy School on October 23 to talk about how climate change is already affecting elements of island life - from eroded and flooded fields, to shifts in tupping time, to the need to alter road and airport infrastructure - and how adaptation is going to be as important as mitigation moving forward. A big thank you to Sarah and all those who attended.

A highly educational evening that revealed more of the intriguing history of the islands, as well as the varied travellers who have visited them, this was a highly informative and entertaining session, and everybody associated with Old Lochmaddy School thanks Donald immensely for taking the time to share his knowledge and finds.
